Resume: Have a dynamic, professional resume prepared that is accomplishment oriented and capitalizes on what you have to offer the potential employer. Cover Letter: It's very important to include a cover letter, I personally would never send out a resume without a cover letter, even for an internal position. First of all it's a common courtesy to introduce yourself. Secondly you can use the cover letter as another way to really sell yourself. With a cover letter you can be a little more personal and conversational, you can talk about things that you can't necessarily talk about on the resume itself - such as your style, work ethic, philosophy, additional accomplishments you couldn't fit on the resume, or things that make you unique. Most of all, we don't write boring boiler-plated cover letters, that will put them to sleep. Our cover letters are cutting edge, creative, and highly effective. Designed to get attention! Follow-up Letter: Remember, it's a good idea to be persistent and follow-up once you have sent out your resume. A follow-up letter is a good way to do this and get your resume into them a second time which increases your chances of being noticed and remembered. Reference Sheet: You'll need this if you actually get called in for an interview. They will usually ask if you brought references, so it's a good idea to go in prepared with references on paper that matches the style and color of your resume. You'll need from three (3) to five (5) references. These should be professional references, meaning people you have worked with or for, and don't forget to contact these people ahead of time so they aren't taken off guard if they get a phone call. Personalized Stationery: You will get 20 pieces of blank stationery on the same matching paper and with the same letter head as your resume. This is a very versatile material to have in your package because you can use it for writing custom cover letters or additional correspondence during your job search process. It will keep everything looking very professional and all of your correspondence and materials will match. Thank you cards: Unique, personalize resume note cards! I can't stress how important it is to send a thank you note after an interview. For one thing, it's simply a professional courtesy, in addition, if they've narrowed it down to you and another candidate, and they receive a thank you note from you but the other person didn't send one, it's going to tip the scales in your direction. The key is to send it off the day of the interview or the day after, while it has the highest impact. If you wait a week they won't remember who you were, have probably already made their decision anyway. Other Materials:
